Lava Storm Play 5G, Storm Light 5G India launch set for 13 June; Design, camera features tease

Lava Storm 5G was launched in India in December 2023. Lava Storm Play 5G and Storm Light 5G are ready to join this base model. The company has confirmed the launch date of the new smartphone and has also teased the camera facilities along with the design. Lava had earlier confirmed that the Storm Play 5G model would be powered by a MediaTek Demistance 7060 SoC. Now, the brand has revealed that Storm Light 5G will come with a MediaTek Demission 6400 chipset.

Lava Storm Play 5G and Storm Light 5G handset According to Live Amazon Microsite, on June 13, IST will be launched in India at 12 noon. The phone will be available to buy in the country through the e-commerce site through Lava India e-store.

Lava had already confirmed that Storm Play 5G models will be equipped A MediaTek dimension by 7060 SoC. The phone will support LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 onboard storage. Amazon Microsite now reveals that Storm Light 5G will take a MediaTek Demission 6400 chipset.

According to the company, Lava Storm Light 5G will be the first smartphone in India, with MediaTek Demistance 6400 Chip, while Storm Play 5G is said to be the first handset in the world to come with a MediaTek demonsal 7060 processor.

Both lava storm Play 5G and Storm Light 5G are teased to reach with a double rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Current teasers do not specify which sensor the phone will use.

In terms of design, similar to the Google Pixel camera bar, a slightly increased horizontal band is seen in the rear panel of Lava Storm Play 5G. The two camera sensors are arranged vertically on the top left corner, as the second sensor is placed within the band. An LED flash unit is placed next to it and the phone is shown in a blue color.

Meanwhile, the lava store light appears with a square rear camera module in the 5G golden shed with round edges. Two rear camera slots with an LED flash unit are placed inside the island.
