Android 16 updates will start rolling out to select the equipment starting on Wednesday, June 11. Google is introducing a stable version of its next generation of earlier operating systems compared to previous years. In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), the official handle of Android developers confirmed the release date of Android 16 update. It will be made available to eligible equipment on Wednesday as a free over-the-air (OTA) software update. Android 16 phone eligibility list
Android 16 update initially expected to be available only on compatible pixel devices, and it will be done by other brands by adding either direct or on top of its top by adding OS skin. At this time, a complete list of supported equipment is not available, however, some smartphones are confirmed to get update based on the number of updated cycles provided by the manufacturer. Android 16 facilities to expect
As mentioned above, the expected Android 16 stable release on Wednesday is not expected to upgrade any major upgradation. However, once the Android 16 QPR1 stable update is rolled out in the next few months, it will also bring a re -designed interface with some major new features.
