Meta on Wednesday released a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) video editing feature. This feature allows users to edit their short-form videos using the preset template that can change the background, add new effects to the subject, and even change people’s clothes. AIS available for limited time, AI-Operated editing tools can be accessed through the Meta AI app, meta.ai website and recently released Edit App. These AI templates are currently rolling into select countries, and later this year, social media giants plan to add more features to it.
In a news room PostTech veteran announced the rollout of the new video editing feature. Right now, this feature allows users to choose and choose from more than 50 preset AI Prompts, which may look like a video shot in a desert, adds a tuxido to a person, or the video looks like an animation. In particular, users can only edit the first 10 seconds of their video with this feature for limited time.
While Meta said that this feature is rolling out in the Meta AI app, the MetaAA website, and the editing app and “more than a dozen countries around the world”, gadgets 360 staff members have not yet been present. There is no clarity of India among the selected countries that get this facility.
Those who have access to the feature will be able to share edited videos directly through Meta AI and Edit apps on Facebook and Instagram. Alternatively, they can also share them in the Meta AI app and the discover feed in the website.
