Uncertainty so far, Stelanis South Africa has announced that the second generation Opel Grandland will become a market reality in July this year.
First for South Africa
Last year was unveiled in Europe by Blitz and then later by UK sister Braxhall, Grandland will become the first model of the group for STLA platforms on local soil, in this case, STLA medium.

What should South Africa expect
In Germany from € 36 100 (R746 104), where two trim levels are offered, the version and the Supreme GS, the South African line-up of Grandland remain unknown, although it is likely that the mentioned grade will be offered as they are on Mocke.
While no electric variants are expected to offer, unconfirmed speculation suggests that Opel may opt for a non-selected version of 1.2-liter puretech, or perhaps introduce plug-in hybrid as its first electrified vehicle in South Africa.
As mentioned, however, it is purely speculative, and thus, more information will be available only within the coming weeks.
