Samsung Bespok Smart Refrigerator is getting some new features. The new features announced on Wednesday include voice IDs, which can identify a user with their voice and then apply personal features, and is a new way to activate Bixby auxiliary. These new features will be available through a free over-the-air (OTA) software update for the refrigerator with AI family hub and 9-inch AI home screen (launched in 2025). Samsung’s BESPOKE Smart Refrigerator is getting new features
In a news room PostTech veteran expanded two new features in the 2025 series of Samsung Besung Smart Refrigerator. The first is Voice ID. The company refers to it as a multi-round recognition ceremony, operated by Bixby AI Assistant. It can register the sounds of users either on the refrigerator or on their Galaxy smartphone and enable their account-specific settings.

Users can trigger an alert tone on their smartphone to check their location, even when it is in silent mode. However, there are some caves. Voice recognition only works when the user has already registered for Samsung account on equipment. In particular, Voice ID can only be registered on Samsung Galaxy S24 series and new models. Additionally, this feature will only work in languages that are supported by Bixby.
Additionally, to look at the calendar events, they must be saved on the Google or Microsoft calendar, and the respective account should be sinking with a smart equipment via the AI Family Hub.
