The size and comfort of the SUV spent easy and comfortable time on the streets of Kruger.
My wife and I love to go to Krurga National Park, but either of us own the car -friendly car. Therefore, when we were offered a Ford region, we jumped on the occasion.
The Ford Territory SUV in Titanium Guiz was a much better option than my old Kia Picto.
When my wife goes to Krurgar, she likes to take half the items of her house with her. Despite this, there was enough space for our bags, cooler boxes and other diverse items in the region.

Ford region huge and comfortable
Driving on the highway was pleasant for most of the park travel. This area is so huge and comfortable that it seemed to be spreading on the road for a long time.
The brakes are very fast, but you have a habit of doing it quite quickly.
Although I am not a fan of automatics, gear changes in the region are quite smooth than other automatics that I have operated in the past. I also had to keep checking the speedometer – on some occasions I found myself above the speed limit, but it felt as if we were carelessly hovering.
However, it is a very cute car. On the open road we were 9.2L/100 km average, but once we were driving very slowly in Krurgar Park, it was reduced to 8.5L/km.

It was inside the park that the beauty of this car revealed itself. The area is perfect for this.

Perfect to watch games
The nature of spending a few days in Kruger Park is that you spend most of the day inside the car. The enough room inside meant that we never felt that we were above each other. For many items taken on the game drive – such as binoculars, snacks, bird books and a flask of coffee – and there were also many places – and compartments.
The 190 mm ground clearance also came in handy while watching the game. This was the most obvious when a scum of cars became a scum next to a hyena with a clutch of cubs right next to the road. Even when other cars were trying to squeeze every available space between us and the puppies, we were still able to keep an eye on them.

Crouger’s dirt has no match for roads
The second standout moment for the Ford region came when we decided to take a quick evening drive for a waterhole near our camp. My wife decided that she would drive there. The small dam was accessible only through a dirt road. Now the car was already on some dirt roads and handled them without any problem, but this special road was different. The entire stretch was crawl and regularly pits rival some of the worst roads in Jugg.
The car handled the road brilliantly, my wife is not so much. I went back to my camp – while my wife calmed her veins with a beer – and found the drive fun. I forgot to try Mountain Driving Mode for this part of the park with stupidity, but perhaps it was not necessary.
In all, Ford region is ideal for traveling Cruger parkSize and comfort are perfect for people like us, who spend most of the time above the roads and below the day, but still enjoy being comfortable when we do it.
