Meta AI app now shows a warning message to separate users from publicly sharing private chats

The Meta AI app, with a social experience with the company’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform, was set on fire after several users and reports last week that its search feed appears to show a crowd of personal conversations. It seems that social media giants are now taking steps to fix it and making users more aware of the results of killing the “share” button. When sharing a post on the social feed, a warning message informs users that the material will appear to all.

This can be one of the guardrails that the company is inadvertently applied to prevent examples of users who post personal information.

The warning message appears to users after tapping on the “share” button located on the top right corner. A full-hit pop-up window appears with a message “indicates that you post and appear to everyone. Your signs can be suggested by meta on other meta apps.” Additionally, the message also asks users to avoid sharing individual or sensitive information.

A “Management Settings” hyperlink also appears next to the message. It takes users to a setting page where users can choose whether their signs can be suggested on Facebook and Instagram. Once the users see this message, they need to tap in the middle of the screen once to activate the “Post to Feed” button. After that, they can share the post in the discover feed.

In particular, some gadgets 360 staff members exposed the message when the first attempt was made to share a post, however, it did not clearly appear later. Now we are seeing that this message appears more often.

The Business Insider Report claimed to see more image-based posts and low text posts, which may also be part of the Meta efforts to curb the positions of personal nature. However, we were not able to verify this claim.
