Poco F7 5G confirmed to receive Snapdragon 8S General 4 chipset before launch on 24 June

Poco F7 5G is set to launch in India on 24 June. The company has recently revealed the design of the upcoming handset and now confirmed the chipset details of the phone. The smartphone will be supported by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8S General 4 SoC. The design suggests that the base F7 variant will sports a dual rear camera unit. The Indian version of Poco F7 is confirmed to receive a 7,550mAh battery with 90W fast charging and support for 22.5W reverse charging.

Poco F7 5G chipset details revealed

Poco F7 5G will be launched in India With a Snapdragon 8S General 4 SoC, the company revealed in an X post. Flipkart Microsite for the handset confirms that Poco F7 5G will support 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 onboard storage.

Microsite further revealed that the Poco F7 5G would be equipped with AI temperature control and 3D iCeloop system with 6,000SQ mm vapor cooling chamber. The handset wildbost gaming optimization will support 4.0, which is claimed to ensure high quality image rendering during gaming when preserving battery life, more responsive UI, a stable high bright and high frame rate.

The Indian version of Poco F7 will be supported by a 7,550mAh battery. This will support 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. The design of the handset suggests that it will have a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support.

The previous leak claimed that Global version of Poco F7 5G Possibly packing a 6,500mAh battery. All variants can use a Sony IMX882 sensor as the main rear camera with an 8-megapixel ultravide shooter. The phone can be equipped with a 20-megapixel sensor on the front for selfie and video calls. This is expected to come up with an IP68-rated dust and water-resistant construction and 6.83 inch AMOLED display.
