Apple Recently iOS 26 Beta 2 update for iPhone was released with many new reforms and bug fixes in tow. However, the update is said to have only performed more than the performance. According to a report, the code within the update references the screen resolution of an unpublished iPhone model, which is considered the iPhone 17 Air. This new device is expected to have a slot between Apple’s upcoming lineup between iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

According to a 9to5MAC reportThe iOS 26 beta 2 update includes a new property for clownfish wallpapers. The code reportedly revealed that it is targeted on a device with a resolution of 420 x 912, which translates to 1,260 x 2,736 pixel display resolution in 3x retina mode.
However, no tool is the above resolution in the current lineup of Apple. It appears for a handset with a larger screen than the iPhone 16 Pro but is smaller than that iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Thus, it is called for an iPhone that is placed between two models. It is estimated to be the iPhone 17 Air that can replace the existing Plus iPhone model in the flagship series. It is expected to have a 6.6 -inch screen which corresponds to the leak display resolution.

The handset can find a dynamic island, although Apple is also rumored to test the in-display face ID technology that can help trim it.
In terms of features, iPhone 17 Air is expected to come up with Magsafe charging, a camera control button, an action button and Apple’s C1 modem.
