OnePlus Announced the expansion of its door pickup and drop service in India on Thursday. This will now cover more than 19,000 PIN codes across the country, making more customers able to repair their OnePlus devices without leaving their homes. With this initiative, China -based OEM is aimed at strengthening its customer service facilities, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Indian cities. In addition, OnePlus Seva Camp has been introduced, which enables out-off-warrant devices to undergo select repair without service fee.
OnePlus Doorstep pick and drop service expansion
In a press note, OnePlus stated that its pickup and drop service now included more than 19,000 pin codes in India. The company’s customer service experience is claimed to be supported by a multi-channel service. It provides direct assistance through dedicated call centers, email-based service channels, real-time live chats, and verified support on WhatsApp.
To request pickup and drop service, you need:
- Sign in with your registered account on OnePlus website
- Fill the service request, check the service fee and repair costs, and submit
- Use the pickup service to send the device to the service center
- The device will be repaired after repair. Gather it through your door once distributed
The company recommends users to backup their OnePlus device before sending it to repair to avoid the potential risk of data loss.
In particular, the expansion of the service structure is, according to the company, a result of community-operated reforms and reactions derived from users across the country. This is an initiative Project StarliteA three-close plan declared in December 2024.
OnePlus India CEO Robin Liu said in a statement, “This customer service is an important part of our long -term vision for India, which strengthens more users with timely, transparent and reliable support”.
OnePlus stated that it is focusing on providing a better customer service experience, improving durability and addressing performance and other malfunctions that may be caused by challenging climatic conditions. Under Project Starlite, the objective of China -based OEM is Rs. Have to invest 6,000 crore to accelerate its customer service efforts in the country.
OnePlus service camp
Apart from expanding pickup and drop service in more cities in India, the company also announced the OnePlus Service Camp. It runs at authorized OnePlus Seva Kendras until June 30, where users can get a free device health check-up and software updates. The service camp is asked to cover all OnePlus smartphones. In addition, people with out-of-worrent devices can avail zero service fee on selected repair.
The company emphasized that it is working towards expanding its service network in more than 400 cities in all 28 states of India within the next five years.
