Xiaomi Yu7 Electric SUV officially goes on sale in China: Price, features

Xiaomi Yu7 Now available for purchase in China, the company announced at its Human X Car X Home event on Thursday. The latest electric vehicle (EV) from China-based company was launched in May and joined the growing fleet of Xiaomi’s vehicles, already included Xiaomi SU7 sedan and its high-performance version, SU7 Ultra. Xiaomi Yu7 price starts For standard trim, CNY at 2,53,500 (about 30 lakh rupees), which is an ultra-long-range rear-wheel drive (RWD) version of EV. Xiaomi Yu7 Pro and Yu7 Max variants to be marketed as All-wheel drive (AWD) and high-demonstration AWD variants, CNY 2,79,900 (about 33 lakh rupees) and CNY Rs 3,29,900 (about 39 lakhs respectively.

Buyers can choose from Xiaomi Yu7- Emerald Green, Titanium Silver and Lava Orange from three external color options. Electric SUV also comes in three internal color options; A light tone, coral orange and pine gray in twilight blue.

Xiaomi Yu7 design is inspired by the company’s SU7 sedan, but has been adopted for a SUV build. According to the company, EV’s double-motor four-wheel drive version has a 3.23 seconds of 0–100 seconds and a top speed of 253 kmph. Electric motors can produce a maximum horsepower of 690 PS and peak power of 508 kW.

The entry-level standard variant of Xiaomi Yu7 has a 96.3kwh battery pack that saves 835 km range (CLTC). Meanwhile, the top-trim Max has a 770 km CLTC range with 101.7kwh battery pack. The company claims that Xiaomi Yu7 can charge 10 percent to 80 percent in 12 minutes, with a limit of 620 km after only 15 minutes of charge. The EV800V silicon carbide can get a maximum charging rate of 5.2C operated by a high-voltage platform, with a high-voltage platform with a peak voltage of 897V.
