The final red rose camp will be named before the Rugby World Cup squad in Treviso, Italy in July.
This is the first foreign camp taken to the women of England, but despite the enthusiasm, the head coach is promising that it will be one of the most difficult and the hottest he has experienced.
Mitchell said, “Summer will make its duras in itself”
“I think our tournament can be hot, so I think we will benefit from it. It will probably be our most uncomfortable training camp because it will be hot and you will get upset.”
After a initial red card for Wing Lydi Thompson, after losing England’s last rugby World Cup final, the coaches are eager to ensure that no stone will be left to prepare the side for all events.
“The amount we have level on our game will put them under a lot of questions through the landscape,” Mitchell said. “Inappropriateness in sports through cards, through those types of things. The play-to-rest ratio will probably be slightly lower.
“We want to be prepared for inappropriateness of any form and it will come to some point. The card and hiya (assessment of head injury) have carried the game forward in that area.
“We are definitely found to do so because it is going to come in the tournament. I will rather be ready for every event and yet, we will probably not be ready for every event.
“If we do not make that exposure, we are probably going to disappoint ourselves like the last World Cup.”
