Grammarli has announced its intentions to acquire supernatural, an artificial intelligence (AI) email app. The AI-Interacted Writing and Proof Religion Assistant highlighted that the acquisition aims to create a native productivity platform that would offer integrated AI experiences led by AI agents. The company also said that it was decided to receive the email app as the email is the “number-one use case” of grammar. It also indicates that some of the AI features may expect the users after the new platform is launched.

The AI-Native email platform first came as a web interface in 2017, and in 2023, the company released it as the Android app. The app has features such as AI-Janred email perfection, automatically follow-up emails, AI-powered classification, and more.
Whereas Grammatically Did not share the financial terms of the deal, highlighted that the acquisition would open an Avenue to carry forward its ambitions to create an AI productivity forum for the company. Choosing an email app as an early point was also strategic, as the company said that “email is in terms of grammar-one use.” The AI assistant claims to review more than 50 million emails per week in more than 20 email customers.
Grammarli, in a press release, reported that despite adding technology to AI providers in email platforms, there is a difference. This is a large extent due to poor integration, which leads to a fragmented experience, the company said. With this acquisition, it now wants to solve these bottlenecks.
While Grammarli’s productivity app is not yet ready, it has mentioned some characteristics that may be available on its productivity platform. Some of them include sorting emails, schedules a meeting, doing deep research of user content, writing full email in the user’s voice, and using AI agents to include more, and more.
