Ragby World Cup winner Lock RG Snemann has been nominated for three trials next month in the Springbox squad, South Africa Ragby announced on Tuesday.
Snyman missed the success of the summer rugby championship with a leg injury, but has made two attempts in three matches this season for the new side lencester.
The 29-year-old, Damian Wilms, Center Andre Esteruzon and fellow second-ride have joined the Utility Back-up by Franco Mostart, who were also sidelined for the mid-year campaign.
Fly-Haf Sacha Finburgh-Mingomezulu, Lock Salman Morat and Lud Day Jaggar as well as Prop Steven Kitshoff are missing, with fitness issues.
“There is no doubt that there are many inauspicious players who could easily form a touring team, but unfortunately we could choose only 34 players,” said Head Coach Rasi Irasmus.
“It is great to go back into the mixture after recovering from RG, Franco, Andre, and Demian after recovering from their injuries, and we are excited to see what their impact is on the field, especially after their disappointment of disappearance in the rugby championship.
He said, “Damian, Andre and RG all returned to action in the Vodacom United Rugby Championships and made a strong statement with their performance, and we all know what a work horse is Franco and the quality that he adds to the team, so there is no doubt that they want to feel their presence against quality opposition,” he said.
Springbox faced 10 November, England six days later and then Wales on 23 November.
Erasmus’s side head North lost only two games this season, against Ireland and Argentina, one year of lifting the World Cup last October.
He said, “There is no confusion about the opposition we will face, and we have experienced for the first time how the crowd of their house raises them, like our emotional supporters, so we know what it will take to succeed there,” he said.
“Fortunately, we have a squad who believe in themselves and their abilities, and it will be important because we enter these matches.
He said, “Clearly we will take confidence by winning the rugby championship, but the reality is now history, and there is no doubt that the opposition will inspire even more to make a strong statement against us,” he said.
