Stephen Bunting defeated fellow English Rob Cross 8–4 in the final of Nordic Masters in Denmark to claim its second world series title of the year.
In the eight-foot race, both were tied at 3–3 on a break before distribution and the cross broke the throw after the cross failed to get 40 into the seventh leg.
Bunting produced 104 finish to go above 5-3 and continued five straight legs away from winning four clear and one struggling cross at 7-3.
Bunting recalled Bull as he ended with around 170, but he won the remaining 25 by cleaning the remaining 25 on his next trip.
“The way I am playing, I was wondering if I am going to win another title again,” Bunting, who won the Bahrain Masters in January, told ITV.
“My couples have been tyrannical in the last few months. This is something I need to work on.
“But, when you win such titles against the players’ caliber, which I am playing in the week, it means a terrible.”
Both Luke Little and Luke Humphrees were dropped in the quarter -finals.
World champion Littler suffered a 6–3 defeat to Nathan Espinol, which was divided into the semi-finals 7–5.
Defending champion Gerwin Price won 6–3 to end the challenge of world number one Humphrise, but Welshman lost 7-4 in the last four.
