The Olympic champion Caster Semanya and Comrade Marathon veteran Girda Stan will take the center stage in the Comrade Marathon of 2025, which symbolizes the feeling of flexibility, endurance and South African excellence on Race Day.

Omo has stepped into the 2025 Comrade Marathon with its powerful ‘stay unbeatable’ campaign – which is a celebration of grit, endurance and unbeatable spirit of South African people. There are two icons of flexibility in the heart of this campaign: Olympic champion Coster Semenya and Comrade Legend Guarda Stan.

On the day of the race, Semenya will serve as the face of the appearance of Omo, offering words of encouragement on key points along the route, including the notorious Essex Terace Climb – one of the most punished stretch of the race. She will also welcome the runners in the Finnish line in Durban, where she will join by Stan, who returns to search for the title of fourth peers after her 2024 win.

The pair will title the ‘stay unbeatable’ booth – a premium recovery zone, which not only celebrates the physical endurance, but also has the mental and emotional strength required to win the world’s most prestigious ultramenton.

“This year in Comrades is a powerful reminder that greatness is not just about winning – it is about showing and living,” says Semenya. “Flexibility means even when this pain occurs.”

Gerada Stan, whose own journey symbolizes tireless determination, will join the post -celebration race, symbolizes the spirit of a champion that not only for the title, but also to inspire.
