A 29 -year -old man from North West accused him of killing his girlfriend on Christmas, on Thursday to face the murder charge in the Madikway Magistrate’s court. Lucky Thabiso Akompe has alleged that Larato Francea Kate’s throat was reduced in the early hours of Monday in Goedhup village near Madikway on Monday, as reported by North West Police spokesperson Captain Sam Tselnen.
The police were rushed to the spot when Kate’s lifeless body was discovered in a hut belonging to one of the relatives of Akampa. Blood -stained clothes were revealed in a later discovery at Akompe’s residence that the suspect wore a day earlier, hiding under a bed.
Akompe voluntarily surrendered to the police and was taken into custody. The presence of his next court is scheduled for Thursday. He has been sent to custody to allow time to consult with a legal representative before the date of his upcoming court.
