European T20 Premier League: Franchise tournament will be postponed in Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands

The plan to organize a European T20 franchise tournament in this summer is to be given shelter by 2026 as three potential owners are focusing on completing the team’s bets in hundred instead.

The European T20 Premier League (ETPL), ownership of Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan, and was scheduled to begin next month to include a city-based franchise from Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands.

The six-team tournament was slated to be from July 15 to August 3, but many sources have told the BBC Sport that the program will definitely not take place this year.

The deals for at least three of the six city-based franchises are considered very close to being signed, and it was initially expected that once they were wrapped, the remaining three would soon follow.
