Can you believe that it will be Christmas in 43 days and I have to plant my tree yet?
I am really trying not to put it very quickly because I get tired of decorating and winter items very quickly. But this does not mean that I am not super excited to get Christmas 2024 and install in my home.
I am one of those who like to go out on my tree and table scap, but I keep the rest of my house less celebrated. I don’t know, it seems strange that my house has so much celebration in the middle of summer, however, if I lived in Europe, I would probably deck everything to the entire house in Christmas.
2024 before Christmas hits us, I wanted to put some pictures from the previous Christmas.
In 2023 I added more bow details to my tree and I really liked how it came out. I always had a small red velvet bow, but it was a treatment to find older people and I love how they looked. I am still eager for a bow for this year, but I have a different concept in my mind.
I always have a little talk for red and white Christmas decoration and every year I try to add more unique pieces to my tree.
I do not always like Match-Match Baubles and Jewelry. I like to have a subject instead of everything, so in 2023 I picked up some new small bits (such as Silver Randier, The White and Red Cherry and Little Book Mouse – among others – some of my 2023 purchases were bought, which I am carrying in my 2024 Christmas decorations.
I really like to include a pine cone from my garden in my tree and will definitely add them again this year.
For my festive table, we hosted a small new year evening with our parents at home. Mother made the most crazy shrimp and linguin (which was well paired with my ancient bottle moat) and I dressed with some festive jewelry and cooked traditional Greek with some festive jewelry Vasilopita Cake.
The decoration with a lot of natural elements from the pine cone was very low and it is my potted ponsetia in the cute woven basket.
I love it!
