Glasses to launch Snap Space 2026 as a contestant of AI Smart Glasses of Meta

SNAP has announced that it will launch a new product called ‘Space’ next year, which is as a consumer version of its enhanced reality (AR) smart glasses. Video and photo-based messaging platform, the parent firm behind Snapchat, has already launched five generations of AR Glass, but is limited to access developers. The upcoming Snap Spac product will provide support for machine learning and AI accessories, and users will also be able to share games with friends. It is also expected to work with the Snapchat app.

Meanwhile, new depth module, Snap3D, and automated speech recognition API will also be available to developers, according to the company.
