Google on Monday introduced several new offerings for students, teachers and schools. Announcements were made at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Edtech Conference, where Mountain View-based tech giants announced Gemini in the classroom, which is a suit of more than 30 new AI devices for teachers. The company also released a custom version of the Mithun dubbed Mithun app for students, which comes with several features to help students. Additionally, Google is expanding access to teachers and students to Google Vids.

Additionally, technical giants are planning to launch notebooks and gems within the classroom in the coming months. With Notebooklm, teachers can create study guides and audio overview for students, and gems will allow them to create AI experts to help students who require additional support.
Teachers will soon be able to see the students’ performance analytics. The new progress tracking facility will initially include US K12 national and state learning standards, and later, standards from other countries will also be added. In addition, tech giants also plan to allow bodies issuing institutions and standards to host and publish their learning standard through Case Network 2.
For students, Google is Introduction A custom version of the Gemini app dubbed Mithun for education. The new app provides features like Gemini Canvas, which allow students who are over 18 years of age, for any subject to generate personal quiz. The facility will be expanded to students below 18 years of age in the coming weeks. This version of the chatbot will also include interactive diagrams and other scenes to help students understand complex themes easily.
The company says that the education version of AI facilities will have supervision equipment and control for parents and teachers. Google has claimed to consult with child safety and development experts to make its content policy, and will not use data from chat to improve its AI model.
