Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatboat grouke developed by XAI may soon get a file editor feature. A tipster claimed that Elon Musk -owned AI firm is working on this feature, which can support various file types including spreadsheets. It is said that users are enabled to chat with the grouke and it should be asked to make changes in various documents. If the leaked information is correct, it can significantly improve chatbot’s appropriateness. Interestingly, the leak comes at a time when XAI is expected to release the Grok 3.5 AI model.
Grocke’s file editing facility asked to support voice command
Independent app researcher Nima Ovji shared Post On X (Eastly known as Twitter) reveals the under-development feature. Tipster also shared a screenshot of the feature, which shows a grooc side panel added to a spreadsheet.
In the post, Ovji stated that XAI is currently working on this file editor feature, which will also support the spreadsheet. “You can talk to Groke and ask it to help you at the same time when you are editing files,” Tipster said. In particular, they have not mentioned other file types that will be supported by this feature.
Ravine After being launched in November 2023, AI entered the chatbot space late, about 12 months after the arrival of chat and Gemini (known as the first Bard), Copillot and Cloud more than six months after the entry of Cloud.
As a result, the Musk and XAI project have also played a catch-up with their rivals. In April, Groke finally received computer vision, multilingual audio support and a web search toolFeatures that were previously added by rival services. Similarly, the ability to edit files is already available on other AI platforms.
If the leaked information is correct, the ability to edit files in collaboratively will take beyond contestants such as splatter and cloud. Currently, only Gemini provides this facility to its paid scope users. But how this feature will be implemented, its nuances will remain betting until the XAI makes an official announcement.
In particular, XAI is also expected to release the Grok 3.5 Large Language Model (LLM) soon. For example, this file editing capacity can be part of the new AI model.
