Indian Railways launched Railon App as an integrated platform for ticket booking and other services

The Ministry of Railways launched the new Railon app on Tuesday. The launch of the Superp is told by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. It is called a one-stop shop that consolidates the public-supporting services of the ministry in the same platform, offering services such as reserved ticket booking, PNR inquiry, ticket withdrawal requests and services on trains. Railon app is available on both Android and iOS equipment and its final construction is Swarlal app Which was launched in Beta in February.

Railon superp The Center for Railway has been developed by Information Systems (CRIS) and is available as a free-down load on Google Play Store respectively and is the app store for Android and iOS devices. Although Indian Railways have different apps under their umbrella for specific services, the new superapp consolves them in a platform.

With the Railon App, users can book reserved, unreserved and platform tickets. They can also inquire about freight and parcel delivery, track PNR status, and check the position of the coach at a particular railway station.

Superapp also provides real-time train tracking. Users can get live updates on expected arrival time, potential delay and other important information. It informs users and helps them plan their journey accordingly, according to the Ministry of Railways.

Superapp provides access to ‘Rail Help’ to increase and track complaints for quick resolution or to track feedback with Indian Railways. In addition, food ordering services can also be accessed through Railon Superp to book food from partner vendors while on a ship during the journey.

In addition to booking tickets, Railon allows users to request refunds for canceled or missed travel through the app. The app also comes with integration of R-wallet, a digital wallet that can be used for convenient payment for services used through the app.

According to the ministry, it has multi-speaking support and enables logins through a single sign-on (SSO) system. The latter means that the user’s railon credentials can be used to log in in other apps such as Irctc Railconnect and UTS mobile apps. Users can login through many methods such as biometric authentication or M-Pin.
