Education MEC said he was pleased with the arrest of the alleged criminal and called for a firm in court
The Quazulu-Natal Education Department has welcomed the chaos of a suspected serial rapist involved in the recent attack on students at the Incosy Biazimali High School in Nehloshen, North Quazulu-Natal (KZN).
MEC Sipho Hlomuka visited the school on Friday for education, where he praised the rapid response of traditional leaders, community members and government officials in ensuring security and justice.
According to Hlomuka, he was shifted from the trauma imposed on the learners and felt forced to go to school personally.
“When I learned about the disastrous events in which I was attached to the Incosy Bijimali, I was unhappy and greatly disappointed. I could only imagine the pain and scary imagination felt by the learners, so I had to see you and make sure that you are safe,” Hlomuka said.
He appreciated the participation of local traditional leadership in stabilizing the situation and ensuring school safety.
“The traditional leadership of the region has proved without doubt that, in fact, education is a social matter. Your direct participation in school rule is commendable,” MEC said.
He particularly accepted the support of the Ingono Tribal Authority and named the leaders, including the chairman of the Ambhele chief, as well as the Incowse Dalomo and Inci Zulu, Gaxabashe of Amakhebella.
