The Lava Storm Play 5G was launched in India on Friday with a MediaTek Demistance 7060 chipset with a storm light 5G version. The price of both phones is Rs. 10,000 and later this month will go on sale via Amazon. The handsets pack each 5,000mAh battery as well as 50-megapixel primary rear cameras. Lava Storm Light comes with 5G MediaTek’s Demistance 6400 SoC. Both plays and light versions are included in the Vanilla Lava Storm 5G model, which was unveiled in December 2023.

Lava Storm plays 5G in India Rupee. 9,999 for the only 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration. meanwhile, Lava Storm Light is the price of 5G Rupee. 7,999 for 4GB + 64GB option. Both phones will go on sale in the country through Amazon. The play variant will be available to buy from starting from June 19, 12 noon, while the light model goes on sale from June 24.

Lava Storm Play 5g There is a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek dimensions 7060 SoC, with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It will run on Android 15 out-of-the-box.
For optics, Lava Storm Play 5G will pack a 50-megapixel Sony IMX752 primary rear sensor with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The phone takes an 8-megapixel sensor to the front for selfie and video calls. It has a single speaker unit.
The Lava Storm Play 5G comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support via a USB Type-C port. It has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. For safety, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Lava Storm Light 5G A MediaTek Demishanis, a MediaTek Demishanis added with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB inbuilt storage, is supported by the 6400 chipset. It has a 5-megapixel selfie shooter and supports 15W wired charging. Other features including displays, batteries, builds, operating systems and main cameras are similar to the Hurricane Play 5G version.
