Kishori Mimi Zoo “loved every one moment” despite her senior Wimbledon’s first set of Wimbledon Emma Redukanu defeat first round.
Redukanu won 6-3 6-3 against 17-year-old Xu, which earned a wildcard for the championship.
Xu, the first welsh player to enter Wimbledon main singles in 20 years, hopefully the experience will inspire him to return to SW19.
“I loved every single moment,” Joo told BBC Sport Wells.
“I wouldn’t say that it was my dream because winning my dream will be clearly begins.
“But I am really respected and happy that this was my beginning.
“I met a Grand Slam champion, a big court to play Britain in a big court – I don’t think I could ask anything different.
“Crowd, atmosphere, court … everything. I didn’t want it to stop.
“I started crying when I came out of court, but I was not upset that I thought ‘Oh my God I have just done.”
