Noris caught Piastry as McLaren dominates Austria

Lando Noris won the Austrian Grand Prix from Oscar Piastry 1-2 in the Red Bull Ring on Sunday.

Charles Lakeler and Louis Hamilton’s Ferris finished third and fourth as Noris closed the difference on piastry for 15 points in the Drivers Championships.

This was McLaren’s first success in the Spielberg track since the David Coolthard Way returned in 2001.

Noris left from the pole and despite being constantly pressed by his team partner for his third win of the season.
