Northern Ireland defender TRAI Hume says he hopes that players successful with their clubs will translate on the international stage.
Hume and Ballard won the Premier League with Sundarland, Connor Bradley helped Liverpool to the league title and Justin Davney won the FA Cup with Crystal Palace.
Northern Ireland faced Denmark and Iceland at a double-header in Friends in next week in the final matches before the start of the 2026 World Cup qualifying in September.
Defender Hume said, “There are four players who have won a lot in this season and hope that we can bring that victory mentality.”
“It certainly helps the team. Hopefully it can move the team forward, we can move forward and reach where we want to live as a nation.”
