For the first time in South Africa, Hyundai provides a hybrid powertrain and, in the case of Santa F, mines a turbodisal engine.
Nearly two years ago, Hyundai has finally announced pricing for all new Santa F before its South African market launch this month.
Dramatic new look
Monikar now adopts a distinct boxing appearance similar to the most radical recurrence in the 25 -year history, the fifth generation Santa Fe, which is internally known as MX5, the defender 130 and the anterior Ford Flex, while using a hybrid powder in South Africa.

Goodbye diesel
In front, the biggest departure of Santa FEC from the previous generations, as mentioned, is the lack of a turbodisal engine, which never developed for MX5.

Overall, three modes are fitted: Eco, Maydrive and Sport, Plus three off-road or area settings: sand, ice and mud.
At the same time, three levels of brake regeneration can be chosen using paddle shifters, which do not act as manual override for transmission.
Color and price
On the colored front, six heuses have been selected: creamy white pearls, electronic gray pearl, abis black pearl, pebble blue pearls, typhoon silver metallic and mud brass mats.
At the price of R1 249 900, Santa Fi stickers include seven years/200 000 km warranty, six years/90 000 km service scheme and eight years/160 000 km battery pack warranty.
