Electrified 3.0-liter turbo strategic swaps plug-in hybrid assistance, capable of producing an additional 17kw/205nm for lower mantras for light-hybrid ‘help’.
The new Mercedes-AMG Clay 53 is asked to combine the best of the two worlds-C-Class Frequency and Spotity with Space and Status of E-Class, and you don’t have to like what you see here.
Electric but no plug
I do not want to be more than technology and do not want to lose you in details, because so many buyers immediately close, for better words, the moment anyone starts talking about electric cars.
While the new AMG E53 is a plug-in hybrid that should be plugged to fully charged as the name is revealed, the AMG CLE 53 is a light-hybrid, and it is not needed, nor can not be plugged to fully charge, and it charms itself through the traditional petrol engine and the brake reservation.

With E53, Cle 53 uses 3.0-liter straight-Six turbocharged engine, but a new exhaust leaves a plug-in hybrid for the 48-volt mild-hybrid system that moves forward by gas-operated turbo and electric compressors.
The result is 330kw/560Nm, but for 12 seconds, an overbost function that leads to torque to 600 Nm is activated. What is more, the mild-hybrid system, known as EQ boost, adds 17kw/205nm of its own to the short burst.

According to Mercedes-AMG, this means that 250 km/h or 270 km/h with an alternative AMG driver’s package and 0–100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.
With E53, the drive in CLE 53 is directed for all four wheels via a nine-speed MCT transmission via 4matic+ all-wheel-drive.
When driving in medium and conditions where all-wheel drives are not required, the front axle is completely decourse. This increases efficiency.

Since the ESP sport setting, driving behavior is more rear-centered. And in the flow mode, the entire speed range of the car was programmed as a rear-wheel drive vehicle.
Specific visual identification features are the long hood embedded in the front end with two powerful electrical domes.
The sloping windshield and long roof, which slope backwards, also refer to it. Passenger cell, which is far behind, leads to sporty, short rear through the rear window, which is also flat.
price
At the price of R2 065 982, the price of AMG CLE 53 includes five years/100 000 km maintenance scheme.
