Qualcomm on Wednesday announced its Snapdragon Auto Day event in India. This is the first time chipmaker is hosting an automobile-centered program in the country. The program is being hosted in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and will be held in New Delhi on 30 July. During the incident, the company plans that vehicle technology, strategic participation and border are planned to be learned. Qualcomm said that the event will be witness to the participants from the automotive ecosystem of OEMs, partners, media and affected.

In a press release, the Tech giants in San Diego, California announced their first motor vehicle ecosystem-focused incident in India. The company’s Snappergon Division is invested heavy in developing a chipset for the in-vehicle connectivity system as well as the infotainment system. The event seems to be a way to bring ecosystem providers together with Qualcomm’s original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
The company said in a press release, “There is an adventure at the center of this landmark event: to make Indian roads safe and smarter, technologies, border learning and cooperation that will define the dynamics of the next decade, showing,” the company said in the press release.
According to the company, Snapdragon Auto Day will be a strategic platform where Tier 1 cities leader, OEM, supplier and ecosystem partners will come together. Qualcomm will use this opportunity to show its connected, software-driven Snapdragon technologies for vehicles. The company also said that these technologies will be made in India and focus on India-specific challenges.

The company claims to have “individual reference-enthralled in-vehicle in-vehicle experience and state-of-the-art 3D UI/UX design.”
Tech giant also provides advanced driver support system (ADAS), which focuses on developing a suit of technology to improve the safety and driving experience of the vehicle by assisting the driver with sensors and algorithm-based automation. Additionally, it also has some (V2X) technique for real-time communication. Qualcomm says that these offerings pave the way for safe driving experience and low road accidents.
