Regional Extreme Festival brings defrosting action for red star

The fifth round of the regional series produced red hot action and close racing at the Delmas Circuit.

Contestants and spectators had to brave the icy cold weather on the red star Raceway near Delmas on Saturday, when this year hosted the five rounds of this year’s regional extreme festival presented by Coca-Cola.

Those who participated, were rewarded with a day of spectacular racing, now the anti-clockwise was running with the circuit, always during the second part of the season.

BMW M Performance

The top billing belonged to BMW /// M Performance Parts Brigade.

Alwyn Steenkamp arrived in a red star with a new M4 of a brand and ran away to win one of the cars in class A, B and C.

He was chased by Bob Neil (Delmone Mining M3), Rainier Smith (Fast Development M3 Turbo) and Nek Makris (335i).

Race Two was lost an oil cooler after Hen van Der Merve’s Savspide 328i and a large slippery line was made at the end of the pit.

After restarting, Jeet Stein Camp, Anton Pomersham (Eagle Granite M4) and Makaris went to Neel.

The first race for class D, E and F went to Andre Shapers Van Wuran (Current M4), leading home class de pointer Bernard de Gauvia (D Gauvia Accountants M3), Eugene Gos (Master Mawers M3) and Oleratu Sekudu (Rampage Rampa Rampa Rampa Rampa M3).

Van Wuran won the race from Seduku, Troy Kochran (Tire Mart Boksburg 330i) and D Gauvia.

111 GT Games and Salon

For the victory of 111 GT sports and salon cars, the first Ferro Energia’s race went to Filip Mayor (Swiss Hotel School Porsche 944), followed by Wautar Ruos (Original Ruos Ruos GTI), Jonathan Wizar (Auto Express Car Service Volkswen Polo) and Jarad Rossov (Nachdhan Volkswov).

Ruos won two ahead of the Marius truck in his super rapid strategic gearbox Volkswagen Golf, followed by the Mayor and Wayne Rob (Ford Focus Saint).

Single seats

Defending champion Landal Jansen (Bull Security Rema) won an easy win in the opening DOE CIM Lubury Formula V Race, followed by Gart Van Dane Berg (DOE Parts Rema), Peters Hills (MOXTO Rime) and Den Stewart (Direction Management Forza).

Jansen won Race Two, again with van Dane Berg and Peter Hills, fourth with Vauan Hills (Mangja Maxvo Raima).

V8 supercar

Terry Wilford (Fuchs Lubricants Falcon) live the first Dunlp V8 Super Bacr Rescue from Warren Lombard (Pepboys Automotive Ford Mustang), Thomas Reeb (Cafe 9 Automotive Chevrolet Lumina) and AUK Componation (CIM Lubricants Ford Mustang).

Lombard beat up after warm-up lap for Race Two. Wilford left for six laps before slowing his faalcon and stopped due to electronic deformities.

Reeb went to win, half lap ahead of the compon.

Voxwagen Challenge

Wayne Masters (Performance Masters) ate the Volkswagen Challenge Race in the first mass polo field from Jaidene Gosen (Ferro Energia), Ian Walker (Mello Velo) and Mello Velo) and Maydi Mafana.

Masters made it a dual win in Race Two, which overtook Gosen, Walker and Lady Racer Elna Croseer (Brake Brake).

The next round of the extreme festival presented by Coca-Cola will be a national program to be held at the East London Grand Prix Circuit in the weekend of Saturday 19 July.
