Smart Television is equipped with AI features, XR contrast boosters and XR processors with Max color technology. The latter is said to be for upscale material for about 4K quality. The TV is claimed to support Dolby Atomos and Dolby Vision along with acoustic surface audio+ technology. They can play 4K games on 120fps and provide features such as variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low delaying mode. It has a dedicated game menu for quick access to Auto HDR tone mapping and settings such as VRR and motion blur.
The Sony Bravia 8 II series supports a studio calibrated mode, including the existing Netflix and Sony Pictures Core Calibrated Mode with new support for prime video calibrated mode. They allow picture settings to automatically accommodate the desired quality of the manufacturer in films, shows and even live sports.
