Stanley Cup 2025: Florida Panthers defeated Edmonton Oilers and maintained title

Renhart is the first player to score four goals in the Stanley Cup final since Maurice Richard of Montreal Canadines in 1957.

It took Renhart four minutes and 36 seconds to open the scoring and the panthers never looked back.

Matthew Takachuk, who said that after the game he was playing with a torn adicter muscle and a hernia, doubled Florida’s leadership until the end of the first quarter, before the Reinhart scored another three unanswered.

Vasili Podcolzin of Edmonton caught a consolation for a five-time Stanley Cup winners, but his last win in the competition came in 1989–90.

“We are a dynasty,” said Tkachuk.

“I can’t believe what it has happened … It just shows how incredible the group is, depth.

“The culture here is very, very unique. Hopefully, we can do it again.”
