Stephen Bunting claims the title of First Players Championship since 2021

Stephen Bunting made a bright performance to defeat German Wattimena and win the 18th Players Championship of 2025.

World No. Four hit the six 180s and took out an average of 104.84 as he dominated the final against his Dutch opponent in Lester.

Watimena won the first phase before the distribution, which is to take full control with a checkout of 164 and 156 before running six legs in a row again.

Despite getting Vattimena back 7–5, the dividing would not be denied and was taken out of 94 for an 11-Darter which won its first Players Championship title for almost four years.

Earlier, Liverpoodlian took an average of 106.43 as he defeated Allen Sutar 6–4 in the last 16, which was before coming through the final-legislation in both quarters and semi-finals.

He defeated Karel Cedles of Czech Republic 6-5-more than 100 average-and then in the last four defeated former World Championship semi-finalist Dave Chisanol 7-6 to 7-6.

Before coming to Anstak against Bunting in the final, Josh Rock, Ryan Sierle, Mike Decate and Niels Zoneweld were two better, Vatimena became better.

After Chris Dobbi won the 17th program on Tuesday, Triple-Hader in Lester ended with the Players Championship 20 on Thursday.

With the final of the competition held at the Minhead in November, there are 34 Players Championship events throughout the year.
