England’s Tommy Fleetwood scored two eagles in 65 runs in the second round to participate in the lead in the Travelers Championship in Connecticut.
The 34 -year -old, who shot the first -round 66 -year -old, sat on nine under nine with the world’s number one Scotty Chefler and his partner American Justin Thomas.
Fleetwood, who is looking for his first PGA Tour title, gave a minor level-par-Par-RAR opening half card, but then the last six holes in TPC River Highlands increased the ground.
He found green in two shots and reached the 13th position cross-five, then two more strokes to take a stroke with a 30-yard shot in 14th position before exiting the fairway.
In the 16th 16th, the 12-foot Burdi put him part of the lead, in which Australian Jason Dey returned a shot.
Fleetwood told Sky Sports, “I am having a good season and I felt that my game is in a good place to go to the US Open last week.”
“Whatever reasons – I will never understand the game – I played really bad but there is always another week in golf and this week is a big week.
“I was inspired to learn to learn to make you better for the coming weeks and this week I am happy how I jumped back.”
Thomas resumed five consecutive shoes in his six-under 64, while the Sheffer also gave 69 cards to sit above the leaderboard.
World number two Rory McLero, who was two away from the first round lead, was a disappointing day with 71 to 71, which left him four behind.
Mcilroy made three bogies in his first four holes and turned three-overs to 38, but in his next six holes, three brothers damaged.
