Ko Seok-Hyeon of South Korea on Saturday unanimously defeated Welshman Oban Elliot at UFC Fight Night in Baku, Azerbaijan through a 30–27 decision.
KO – By making his UFC debut – created a major performance featuring several submissions in three rounds, with 31 -year -old Elliut ground for a long time.
Elliott, named ‘The Welsh Gangster’, has now suffered its first defeat since its UFC started in February 2024.
He was originally set to fight against Ramiz Brahmaj on 31 May at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.
The bout was canceled due to visa issues, but the UFC proceeded rapidly to keep 27 -year -old active, residing it later this week.
Welshman entered the competition in November with a 3–0 UFC record for a knockout win over Basil Halfz in UFC 309 and unanimously won the decision on Preston Parsons and Wal Woodburn.
Elliott trained to prepare for bouts with some aristocratic fighters of the game across Europe.
But it was not enough against the opponent known as ‘The Korean Tyson’, who came in his UFC debut with an impressive record of 11–2.
