Brooks and wife Flora revealed on social media earlier this week that they become parents, with their child on 1 November.
For Brooks, who were detected of cancer in 2021, the news is particularly delightful whether there were questions about whether this time would come.
“I always wanted to start a family. My wife and I wanted children at some time,” says 27 -year -old.
“Obviously when I was diagnosed, you have that conversation and there was never any guarantee that I would be able to have children in future. There was a chance that it would not be possible.
“But I was really lucky that it came naturally. Things came back to normal after my treatment, so definitely I was really happy. There were some tears, but we really look forward to it.”
Brooks were 24 years old when he was detected Stage to Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2021.
“Dark Times” were To attack the midfielder, but after several months of chemotherapy, he was declared cancer -free in May 2022.
He returned to the first-team football with Bornmouth in March 2023 and returned to the Wales squad in that summer.
