Xiaomi has been launching three models as a part of its major number of series over the years. Last year, Xiaomi launched its Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro models, followed by Xiaomi 15 Ultra in China. Of these, only Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra made it for India. A tipster now claims that we will see two pro models with standard models and ultra models this year. This new model has been tagged as Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini and now we have some details about this new compact flagship.
According to a post in the digital chat station on Weibo, Xiaomi is working on a new 16 Pro model which will be Size Compared to regular Pro. While we have no dimension about this mystery smartphone, Tipster has mentioned that its regular Pro model will have a 6.3-inch display vs. 6.8-inch display.

In terms of capacity, tipster claims that both will be a periscope telephoto camera with both large Xiaomi 16 Pro and Compact Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini.
Tipster also shared an image, which shows various glass treatment and camera layout options, which can make it in the new Xiaomi 16 Pro model. Camera modules indicate the appearance of three cameras with additional cutouts for cutout mic and other sensors. Designs differ from texture and clarity, with some a black ring or lens protector with some that are embedded in the camera module for three cameras.
Whereas now we have an idea that Xiaomi is planning to launch an additional compact flagship. It is still not clear why Xiaomi will add another smartphone to its counted series with similar performance dimensions as models with standard numbers. Adding a pro mini model makes sense only when Xiaomi is planning to remove some features or to extract a camera from the standard model.
